Whenever I plan for Sunday brunch the first question I ask myself, will there be any place where they can engage my super active junior so that I enjoy my brunch with my wife and have a glass of champagne.
Let me tell you what I have got. Tamra, the newly opened all day dinning at Shangri-La has the answer. They have a separate kids rooms with TV so that kids can watch cartoons and t have their lunch as well. They kids menu is fantastic. Sorted, now you can enjoy the brunch J
My previous experience at Tamra was fantastic and I still have memories of the amazing lunch that I had with their PR and Marcom Team Anjori and Jiggi.

Every time we go for a Sunday brunch we tend to overstuff ourselves as we get spoilt by the numerous choices that are laid. Here things are not different.
If you like Japanese food then you will be overwhelmed by their Japanese section. Live sushi section and teppanyaki where you can choose your favourite meat/fish/vegetable and then grilled according to your choice.
Before venturing into details of my favourite section i.e. meat – Tamra also has section specifically for gluten intolerants – Gluten free food and fresh salads.
Neeraj Tyagi after joining as Excecutive chef of Shangri-La, brought in lot of changes. There are weekly changing counters from regional Indian that has food from various parts of India. Last week, I tried Amritsari kulcha and Moradabadi Daal and both were simply delicious.
If you are meat lover then the live grill section should be your first choice. You can order meat/seafood of your choice long with the sauce. The Moroccan delight where lamb raan is cooked to perfection and served along with rice and some grilled vegetable, gives you meat that is tender and juicy. I loved it to the extent that I could have finished my lunch with the lamb raan.
If you love chaat( I am sure most of you do) then you can indulge in the live station of chaat that has chaat, golgappe, raj kachoori and other delicious mouth-watering stuff.
For people who love pan Asian, they have whole array of food from Thai to Chinese to Singaporean to Malaysian along with various kind of noodles and rice.
Any brunch is incomplete without delicious Indian spread and Tamra has some exceptionally good Indian food. Do try their dal Makhani, mutton curry and delicious mutton biryani.
Tamra has excellent bar and apart from your champagne you can enjoy array of cocktails prepared by talented Umang Srivastva.
They also have great spread of deserts which ranges from baked yogurt to classic Indian deserts and some excellent French pastries all in-house. It is interesting that Tamra offers complimentary entry to their gorgeous pool after sumptuous meal.
Tamra in my opinion joins the league of one of the best Sunday brunches in town. Not just that, it’s more like a breeze of fresh air that will stay for a long time.
