Book Launch Khanna Sutra – Michelin Star Chef Vikas Khanna’s Book Launch Event

On 7th feb 2013 at hotel Shangri-La Michelin star chef Vikas Khanna launched his book called “Khanna Sutra”, which they called is inspired from Kam Sutra. He is probably one of the youngest chefs who’s restaurant Junoon in New york won Michelin star after nine month of their operation and it’s a benchmark. Junoon , where Vikas Khanna is the master chef, serves Indian cuisine and it’s famous Patiala lounge serves contemporary cocktail with concoction of varied range of herbs.

Event was crowded as expected and people asked different kind of question and he answered all of them with a big smile. The interaction had been sweet, simple and he seemed pretty down to earth. I have been a great fan of him and follow him very closely. .

About The Author

Vikas Khanna is an award-winning, Michelin-Starred Indian chef and restaurateur. He grew up in Amritsar, India, and learned to cook from his grandmother. At the age of 17, he opened his own catering company and has never looked back. He graduated from the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, and studied at the Culinary Institute of America, Cornell University, New York University, and the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, Paris.

Settled in New York for over a decade, Vikas Khanna is one of New York City’s top-rated chefs with his work at Salaam Bombay, The Café  at the Rubin Museum, and the highly regarded Junoon. He is also recognised for his humanitarian efforts with SAKIV, New York Chefs Cooking for Life, and his documentary film series, Holy Kitchens.
